You Can’t Just Create Content These Days & Expect To Stand Out…

“Just create” doesn’t work anymore.

With the rise of AI, everyone cloning big creators, & surface level-trend chasing content, it's never been easier to stand out online.

But to do it right, you need to create content that’s seductive, sexy, & alluring.

Now to be clear, I have no problem with AI.

I sometimes use ChatGPT to help me rewrite my content more concisely or to ideate/expand on a certain idea I have.

What I do have a problem with is using it to flat out write all your content and hit post without editing it.

AI is not human.

It doesn’t have emotional logic.

It doesn’t understand the nuances of stories or context (yet)

And to be honest, it makes you look lazy.

Cloning big creators is another issue I see every day.

While it’s good to find inspiration in others who’ve found success, copying their writing style & branding is a no-go for me.

All it does is pollute the timeline with poor imitations and inauthentic garbage. (I know I’m being harsh here but I’m passionate about this)

We all have an innate gift — To create.

Why waste it?

Why waste it on surface level content you’re not passionate about.

Why provide 0 substance for your reader just for followers & likes?

The problem with all these is it makes the creator environment noisy.

But not just noisy, noisy with all the same music.

Imagine going to a rock festival except at this festival all the bands play at the same time in the same space.

That’s what it’s like online right now.

So the real question is, how do you stand out?

How to create content that’s seductive, sexy, & alluring

Personal stories:

They separate you from other creators.

You’re not the only one in your niche, so why should people follow you?

Because there is no other you…

Ideas for some stories:

•Life changing challenges you’ve beaten.

•A lesson or advice someone else gave you that was impactful.

•Why are you creating in the first place? (Your vision, where you’re going)

Nobody has your story, lessons, & life experience.

Lean into it.

*Pro tip - Always end your story with a lesson & advice for your reader (start the story about you but end with making it about them)

Put your spin on well-known ideas:

Instead of trying to go viral the same way a post already did, ask yourself:

•Do I agree?

•Do I have a contrarian take?

•Do I have a different perspective?

If so, share it.

It’ll create novelty on a popular idea and make it feel fresh again.

Show your personality:

This is where you write like you speak (cliche I know but hear me out)

When you write like you speak, your content will feel more conversational & unique to you.

If you write a word you would never say in real life, cut it.

Another way to show your personality is to write about topics you’re actually passionate about.

Not what’s trendy, not what’s getting likes.

But what actually lights that fire inside of you.

Trust me, it shows in your writing.

Quick tip:

*Ask a close friend or family member to read your writing and if they can’t picture you saying it - rewrite it.

It’s never been easier to stand out, but it’s never been harder to grab attention.

I appreciate you being here, see you next Thursday.
